Be understood.
We start with the story you are telling, the readers it is for, and the goals that matter to you.
Our approach ↗At PAGELUME MARKETING, we help authors show up with purpose. Through ongoing social media management and thoughtful book campaigns, we bring your story into more reader conversations.
An online team. A personal approach. Support beyond launch day.
PAGELUME MARKETING was founded in 2023 with a simple focus: helping authors introduce their books to more readers and maintain an active presence beyond publication day.
Over the past three years, we have helped many authors with their marketing journeys. We understand that finishing a book is one chapter; finding the time and direction to keep sharing it is another.
Today, our four-person online team works from the UK with authors worldwide. We bring together book marketing, ongoing social media management, author communication, and dedicated children’s book support.

Whether we discover your work or you reach out to us, a meaningful partnership begins with a relevant, respectful conversation.
We scout authors and books whose stories may be a fit for our services. When we reach out, our aim is to explain what we noticed about the book, introduce PAGELUME MARKETING, and discuss how our support could help.
Authors can also contact us directly. Either way, we listen before proposing a plan. Your genre, existing audience, publication stage, priorities, and availability all help shape the conversation.
“The right plan begins with understanding your story—and the people it is written for.”
OUR WORKING PHILOSOPHY · PAGELUME MARKETING
We identify a potential fit, introduce our team, and explain the services relevant to your book. You decide whether to continue the conversation.
We discuss your story, your readership, your current social media activity, and what you want your marketing to support.
We recommend an agreed scope: social media management, broader book marketing, a children’s book campaign, or a combination.
We confirm the work, timeline, responsibilities, and content approval process. Clear communication helps the campaign stay true to your author voice.
We carry out the agreed work and keep in touch as your campaign develops. For ongoing management, we maintain a consistent content rhythm over the months ahead.
We discuss available engagement and campaign information, learn from reader responses, and adapt the next phase where appropriate.
Our core work is social media marketing, but an author’s needs may extend beyond maintaining an account. We also help with book positioning, campaign planning, promotional messaging, and the way a book is introduced to its intended audience.
For children’s books, Saylor Quinn considers the age range, reading experience, and the parents, caregivers, and educators who help stories reach young readers.

Social media marketing is our main focus. We have helped many authors bring more consistency and direction to the way they share their books, with support shaped around each project.
We manage the ongoing work of author social media: planning what to say, shaping content around your voice, and maintaining a consistent presence over the agreed period.
An active account should give readers a reason to stay. We bring together book-related content, author insight, relevant conversations, and clear invitations to explore your work.
We help authors communicate what their book offers and who it is for. A considered plan connects the book’s themes and audience with the promotional messages used throughout the campaign.
Whether you are preparing to introduce a new title or continuing to promote an existing book, we discuss a direction that fits its stage and your goals.
Saylor Quinn leads our children’s book marketing work. She focuses on introducing your story in a way that helps adults understand its age range, themes, and reading experience.
The goal is to connect your book with relevant parents, caregivers, and educators while respecting the story’s character and the needs of its intended readers.

PAGELUME MARKETING JOURNAL
Before planning posts, decide what a reader should understand after visiting your profile. Your genre, the tone of your writing, and the book you want to introduce should be easy to recognise. A simple profile description and a relevant book link give visitors a place to begin.
A book offers many possible conversations: the question that inspired it, a setting you researched, a character’s difficult choice, or a theme readers may recognise in their own lives. Sharing this context gives a potential reader something to connect with before asking them to buy.
Choose a realistic posting routine and prepare content in manageable batches. Consistency does not have to mean posting every day. It means showing up often enough that your account feels active, with care for the quality and relevance of what you share.
Ask questions that relate to your book’s themes and respond when readers engage. A useful conversation can reveal language, interests, and questions that inform future content. Avoid treating every comment as a sales opportunity; give the discussion room to develop.
Likes alone cannot tell you whether your marketing is working. Consider the information you can access—such as meaningful comments, profile visits, link activity, and direct enquiries—in relation to your goal. If sales data is available, review it without assuming every change came from social media.
A practical way to turn your story, themes, and writing process into a varied content plan.
PAGELUME MARKETING JOURNAL
Choose a small set of themes that fit your book: the story itself, the author behind it, the world or topic it explores, and reader conversation. These give your plan variety while keeping it connected to the same book.
Explain the genre, mood, and central question of your book. Share a short excerpt you have permission to use, a detail from the setting, or a clear description of the kind of reader who may enjoy it. Give each post one main purpose.
Talk about a research discovery, a writing choice, or how an early idea developed. These posts can make the author’s perspective more tangible without requiring you to disclose personal details you prefer to keep private.
Invite readers to discuss a theme, a fictional dilemma, or a reading preference connected to the book. Ask questions you would be interested in answering yourself. Make time to reply thoughtfully to the responses.
Make it easy to explore the book through an accurate description and a working retailer or author-site link. Review which topics prompted useful conversation and carry those lessons into the next month. This outline is a planning example, not a promised performance formula.
Why age range, reading experience, and adult decision-makers matter in children’s book marketing.
PAGELUME MARKETING JOURNAL
The child enjoying the story and the adult choosing it may need different information. State the intended age range and describe the reading experience accurately: a shared read-aloud, an early independent read, or a longer story for a more confident reader.
Help parents and caregivers understand the story’s tone, themes, length, and format. Where appropriate, explain how it might fit into a reading routine. Concrete details are more useful than broad claims that every child will love it.
A character, an illustration, or a moment of wonder can give the campaign a natural focus. Use artwork and excerpts only with the necessary permissions. Keep the promotion faithful to what is actually inside the book.
If your book connects to a topic or discussion, describe that connection clearly. Offer conversation starters or simple reading activities where appropriate. Avoid claiming curriculum alignment or educational outcomes unless those claims are supported.
Build marketing conversations around the adults choosing and sharing books. If you use a child’s image, feedback, or identifying information, obtain the appropriate permission. You can show the character and appeal of a book without relying on identifiable children in your promotional material.
